Store change approved by Burns council

The Burns Town Council meeting opened Monday night with discussion on the future of the planned dollar store in the former town hall building. Expecting to have renovations done on the interior, an asbestos study was done. That study revealed tile flooring containing asbestos.

That news caused prospective store owner Sabrina Mathews to reconsider taking on the building lease. However, her additional plan to open an H&R Block tax service caused reconsideration.
