Hornets 2-1 at Burns Winter Classic

ree teams on the court at Burns High School last weekend. Their performance earned the Hornets a 2-1 record for the weekend and moved them to 4-1 on the season.

Up first Friday was the Central High School sophomore team. The Hornets took control of the game in the first three quarters posting scores of 15-7, 13-6 and 11-9, before allowing Central to make a 17-12 surge in the fourth period. The final score was 51-39 giving Pine Bluffs its first win of the weekend. Lane Nusbaum completed the game with a double-double. He had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
