Pawnee Lady Coyotes trounce Union Colony


Tuesday night the Pawnee Lady Coyotes took to the road for a match up with Union Colony Prep. The Lady Coyotes trounced the Lady Timberwolves 63-25 in the non-league bout.

Pawnee took control from the outset of the game, shutting out the opposition 24-0 in the opening period of play. In the second canto, Pawnee posted another 12 points, while Union Colony managed to get a shot in for two.

In the second half, the Lady Coyotes repeated with 12 points in the third quarter, and the Lady Timberwolves tacked on eight points. The fourth stanza saw the teams knot at 15.

With the victory, the Lady Coyotes improve to 6-0 on the season. They will open the 2013 portion of the season with a road trip to Fleming on Friday, Jan. 11.
