Albin resolves to prevent hazards

Jeanine West from the Emergency Management Agency presented the Albin council Thursday evening with the resolution to adopt the hazard mitigation for Laramie County. West began working with Albin and the other towns in the county in 2011. She said Albin would be the first to sign the resolution.

West thanked Albin and the other towns for their participation. She said the number one hazard for Albin was flooding followed by chemicals and tornados. West said there was money available to assist Laramie County communities, but it is a state wide competitive grant.
