Lady Coyotes extend streak to 7-0

The Pawnee Lady Coyotes traveled to Greeley Dec. 18, to play a non-league game against Union Colony and brought home another win 63-25.

“With a 24-0 lead after the first quarter and a 36-2 lead at half, it was just a matter of finishing the game without getting anyone hurt,” coach Dean Smock said. “Again it was our defense that set the tone and allowed us to gain an easy win.”

Lyndee Johnston led in scoring with 20 points. Morgan Sanders put up 11. Afton Zitek added nine and Kerby Anderson six in the effort. Kendra Konig and Lena Haun each tacked on five. Katie Klinginsmith put fou...
