Community Calendar

 


Items for possible inclusion in the weekly community calendar should be typewritten or legibly printed. All submissions should include the name and daytime telephone number of the person submitting the information in case questions arise.

Items which may be included in the calendar are church events, club meetings, and school events.

If your club will not be meeting or has a change, please contact us so we can update the calendar with the correct information as soon as possible.

Items should be received on Monday at 5 p.m., one week prior to the date they will appear in the calendar. They may be faxed to 307-245-3325, e-mailed to cshroyer@pinebluffspost.com, mailed to Pine Bluffs Post, P.O. Box 68, Pine Bluffs, WY 82082, or dropped off at the Post’s office located at 201 E. 2nd St.

High school sports

The Burns/Pine Bluffs wrestling team will host South JV at 6 p.m.

Fun for Kids

Fun for Kids — Dance, Dance, Dance will be presented for preschoolers at the Pine Bluffs Branch Library at 10 a.m.

Serenity Al-anon

Pine Bluffs Serenity Al-Anon meets Thursdays at 7 p.m. at United Methodist Church. Use the east door. All are welcome.

Overeaters Anonymous meets at the First Christian Church, 219 West 27th St., Cheyenne, at 5:30 p.m.

CLA

Clutterers Anonymous meets at Recover Wyoming, 512 E. Lincolnway, Cheyenne, at 7 p.m

Friday, January 25

High school sports

Burns basketball teams will travel to Lingle. Pine Bluffs will host Kimball. Pawnee will host Weldon Valley.

AA

Pine Bluffs AA meets at 7 p.m. at United Methodist Church. Use the east door. All are welcome.

Saturday, January 26

Coffee club

Burns Coffee Club enjoys coffee, cinnamon rolls and conversation with friends and neighbors from 8 to 11 a.m. at 130 Main St. in Burns.

High school sports

Burns basketball teams will travel to Lusk. Pine Bluffs will host Lingle.

Monday, January 28

Burns council

Burns Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. at the Burns-Plex. Prior to the meeting council will hold a work session to discuss 6th Penny project prioritization. That will begin at 6 p.m.

Thursday, January 31

Fun for Kids

Fun for Kids — C is for Cookie will be presented for preschoolers at the Pine Bluffs Branch Library at 10 a.m.
