Student of the Week

Albin Elementary:

Mandie Amend is the go-to student in the sixth grade room for help, especially in math. “They usually ask me for help because I am the smartest one, I guess,” said Mandie in a shy, unassuming way.

These early experiences with helping students learn has put a teaching career high on Mandie’s list of dreams. “I also like animals, too, so a veterinarian would be nice,” added Mandie.
