Coyotes top Peetz

A win over Peetz on Saturday left the Pawnee Coyotes with one proud coach after a loss to Fleming the night before. Friday’s score was hard-fought 69-55 loss. On Saturday, the Coyotes played their way into a hole before picking up the pace for the 64-57 win.

“We dug a huge hole to climb out of in the first quarter, giving up 28 points to our 11,” Pawnee coach Tim Brunelle said of Friday’s loss. “But we outscored them in the second and third quarters and cut the lead down to where we had a shot. “Fleming just shot extremely well, and their defense was very solid also.”
