Burns land bid accepted

With a full house seated in council chambers, the Burns Town Council opened bids for a several lots of property the town offered for sale. The property is on North Main Street and had been sought for purchase by Matt and Hannah Fields. When the Fields made an offer on the property, the town agreed to sell the land, but had to tell the Fields it had to go through the bid process.
