Broncs top Panthers, fall to Hornets

A make-up game against Wright turned out right for the Burns Broncs last week. Traveling to the Panthers den on Monday, the Broncs put out a strong effort to bring home a 57-47 win. On the home court on Saturday they weren’t so lucky. The visiting Pine Bluffs Hornets delivered a stinging blow that saw the Broncs do down by a score of 35-64.

Against the Panthers, Burns came out ready to play. The Broncs struck hard and fast putting up 16 first-quarter points to Wright’s six. The pace slowed a touch in the second period with Burns still out-pacing the Panthers 10-7.
