For the special this week at the Hereford Community Church Carol Opdycke read “Jerusalem Obituaries 33 A.D.”

The sermon topic was “The Governor and His Wife.” As we approach Easter Sunday, Pastor Opdycke has been focusing on those people who played a key role. This week the focus in on Pontius Pilate and his wife. Pilate was the Roman governor appointed by the emperor of Rome to rule over the southern part of Israel.
