As I begin on news here around Banner County from this past week and looking somewhat into this one, the most current event has been St. Patrick’s Day. Mine started out with a fairly early telephone call from my sister-in-law out in Nevada. She was driving home from just finishing working the night shift and she asked if I was cooking up corned beef and cabbage for today. No way says I, as no one at my house would be interested in eating it. I did wear green socks though, self-protection basically.
