The village board met briefly last week, as there wasn’t much on the agenda to discuss.

The sewer project is complete, and no major maintenance problems were found during the survey. Just lots of tree roots and sand in the pipes … the board is considering investing in a hydraulic root cutter for the sewer jetter so they can keep up maintenance on the pipes more easily.

The village is still working on grants for the new street signs. Rick reported that Hometown Hardware in Kimball has the best price on steel posts, so the village plans to purchase from them.
