Gade to celebrate 90th birthday

Luverne “Lighty” Gade of Pine Bluffs will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house April 6. The event will also be a celebration of his wife’s 85th birthday and the couple’s 65th anniversary.

Gade was born April 6, 1923, in South Dakota. He graduated from Pine Bluffs High School in 1941 and served in the United States Army with the Counter Intelligence Corp as a staff sargent with special endorsement in undercover investigations.
