The Hereford Community Church celebrated Easter Sunday with a sunrise service. The scripture for the day was Mark 16:1-7. Pastor Opdycke told about Simon Peter Even through Peter denied that he knew Jesus, he repented and was forgiven. Peter went on to establish the Christian church.
The Prairie Songbirds choir performed the Easter cantata “In Christ Alone.” The members of the choir were: Kathy Zitek, Karel Smock, Jan and Steve Hauer, Carol Opdycke, Shirley Hall, Terri Jewell, Rita Johnston, Merietta West, and Shirley Wiggin.
