Shirley McGrann

Shirley Y. (Penwell) McGrann, 76, of Pinedale, went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2013. After a short battle with cancer, Shirley died at home surrounded by family and friends.

Shirley was born Jan. 11, 1937, in Cheyenne to the late Burleigh “Pete” and Elsie (Schliske) Penwell. She was the eldest of two children. She grew up in Carpenter, and was married to Pete Illoway in 1963. They had two children together. They later divorced and Shirley moved to Pinedale in 1980.
