Burns council mulls daycare dilemma

Talk of opening a daycare in the Burns-Plex took a good portion of the Burns Town Council meeting Monday, April 8. Jessica Loyd was unable to attend the meeting, but sent a list of needed items to start a daycare center.

Loyd is currently providing daycare in her home and has a waiting list for more children in need of local daycare. Through her investigation of needs to start a business in the Burns-Plex, Loyd discovered she would need a stove, triple-sink, a stove hood, and a sanitation station to wash toys.
