Student of the Week

A small quiet little blond student peeks her big blue eyes around the door to the school office. Gracyn Kummer, a Pawnee elementary first grader, is the type of little girl you want to spend as much time as possible with in order to capture a little innocence and hope.

Kummer is very easy to talk to once you hit on her favorite topics, art and cursive writing. Her classroom consists of the first and second grade students. Kummer said her teacher, Paula Tietmeyer, “is teaching us cursive and it is fun!” She enjoys art class and likes working with the clay and drawing pictures.
