Personal bests rule the day for Burns, Pine Bluffs tracksters at GOCO Invite

Coach Dustin Lee found Saturday a great day for weather and the performance of his athletes as they participated in the Goshen County Invite.

“Our kids took advantage of the nice day and came away with several personal bests,” Lee said.

Some highlights for the day included JC Thurin beating his best in the pole vault by a foot clearing 11’6” and having three great attempts at 12’ despite rolling his ankle on his 11’6” attempt. Wyatt Norman also bested his pole vault height going 6” higher clearing 10’.
