Day of Giving set for Friday

The annual Day of Giving is set for Friday, May 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Kiwanis Community House in Cheyenne. The whole day is focused on one simple thing: asking people to come out and do what they can to help those among us who are sick or who cannot afford life’s necessities for themselves or their families. They have no entertainment, no door prizes, just that one goal. Those who come by to drop off donations have that unmistakable feeling that they have done something very good — and probably a sticker that says, “I gave at the Day of Giving!”
