Shain re-elected mayor of Pine Bluffs

Voters booths in Pine Bluffs helped over 300 voters decide on mayor and council members.

Bill Shain retained his seat as mayor of Pine Bluffs in Tuesday’s election. He defeated opponent Steve Miller by a 242 to 62 vote margin. Kelly Krakow was confirmed for a second term as mayor in Albin with 25 votes. There was a write-in vote for James Sorensen in Albin.

In the council race in Pine Bluffs, six men ran for two four-year terms. Incumbent Alan Curtis received 189 votes and incumbent Mark Fornstrom received 157. The challengers were Don Herman, Lowell Klassy, Charles Radcliffe and John Wise. Herman garnered 59 votes, Klassy 111, Radcliffe 37 and Wise 47, giving the seats to Cu...
