Crash landing

Late Wednesday morning, May 15, tones went out calling the Pine Bluffs Fire Department and ambulance crews and Laramie County Sheriff’s Department to the site of a plane crash 1.5 miles west of the Pine Bluffs Airport runway. A Cessna 188 crop duster piloted by Mark Nardin, of Emigrant, Mont., lost lift at 2200 feet while practicing touch and go landings. Nardin was able to land the aircraft but struck a fence causing very extensive damage to the aircraft operated by Circle S Aviation. The FAA is conducting an investigation into the crash.
