Pine Bluffs Hornets have tough time at state

 


The Pine Bluffs Hornets worked their way through a growing season in track this year. Hampered by weather and the lack of meets to compete in, both the boys and girls teams placed twelfth at the state meet last weekend. The girls earned a score of 27, while the boys had 18 points.

“The state meet was a tough meet for us,” said coach Dustin Lee. “Although there were some unfortunate happenings it also had some positive ones. We are a young team with young talent. That talent will be tough to beat as they get older.”
