On a cold, wet Saturday morning, not much beats warm pancakes and ham before shopping at garage sales. The Pine Bluffs Lions Club flipped soft hot cakes on the hot griddles even as rain drops sizzled on the surface. The warm smell of the cakes drifted through the tractor-filled parking lot, and even folks who just stopped to get a map of the sales had a difficult time resisting a stop for breakfast.
