Police department increases force

Pine Bluffs Police Department officially has three officers after Robert Armstrong was sworn in last Wednesday at the Pine Bluffs court room. Armstrong received the oath of office from Judge Moran with Armstrong’s wife and children looking on. Armstrong’s father-in-law and mother-in-law were also in attendance, and no strangers to the oath as his father-in-law is a deputy for Laramie County Sheriff’s Department. Judge Moran commended Armstrong on his decision to be an officer, and he “applauded officer’s for putting themselves in jeopardy when a dangerous situation arises.”
