Cheyenne Frontier Days kicked off last weekend. The music, the cowboys, the rides, and I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t pay homage to the food.

Next to Old Frontier Town on your walk over to Indian Village, is a section of chuck wagons. Most days they boil, sear, and bake meals our pots and pans haven’t even imagined.

The cast iron skillet and dutch oven are staples for campfire cooking. But just because you own a Kenmore, doesn’t mean you can’t try your skills in cast iron.
