Irene Bard

Irene Ruby (Watts) Bard passed away at Laramie Care Center on Friday, June 7, 2013. She was the youngest of nine children born to John and Ida Watts on July 31, 1914, in Naponee, Neb. The family moved to southeastern Wyoming where her father was employed by the railroad.

At age 18, Irene was married to Arthur E. Bard and they operated the family farm north of Pine Bluffs until moving to town in 1958. They were the parents of four children — Marilyn, Rodney, Arthur Jr. (Butch), and John. They were later divorced and she met and married Linton E. “Buck” Winans of Denver, Colo., in 1966....
