Some days are like that ... Bulls toss riders at the =G Rodeo

Some days are worse than others and the riders of bulls had a tough night Friday at the =G Rodeo at the Pine Bluffs arena. Riders and rodeo clowns were tossed and trampled, but left no worse for wear, while some of the ropers faced challenges of their own with calves eluding the lariat.

The riders of steer and bulls added no points to their tallies Friday night at the =G Rodeo at the Pine Bluffs rodeo arena. Chase Stricklin is the current leader in steer riding with 12 points. He is also the only rider to have qualifying rides.With one more ride left in the season three riders in the novice bull event and four in the open bull event have 6 points each.

Two young ladies completed the novice goat tying event. Libby Winchell was first in 7.9 seconds. She is fifth in point standings with 12. In second place Friday with a time of 10.7 was Reata Hoar. Hoar leads the event in po...
