It's good to touch the green, green grass of home

Mixed in the air along with the laughter and scent of grilled hamburgers was a feeling of hometown at the City Park grand opening Sunday afternoon. About 100 people enjoyed the festivities sponsored by the Pine Bluffs Fire Department. There was a climbing slide for the kids and a dunk tank with the police department taking a dip whenever a ball connected with the target. If the hot dogs, hamburgers and corn on the cob didn’t fill up the guests, the Pine Bluffs recreation department had free chocolate, vanilla and poppy seed cake and ice cream.
