What you can't eat won't kill you


Have you ever been “advised” or scolded about eating or drinking something you “shouldn’t?” Until a week ago, I was as free and willing with my intake of food as a dam door opening up after a heavy downpour allowing water to flow past.

Anything, as long as it tasted good, was welcomed on my plate.

However, due to age, genetics and too many years of leaving the “dam door” open, my doctor is advising me to “make some lifestyle changes.” Which means quit eating what you love.

But does it? There are many options today to keep the flavors you love without the fat, cholestero...
