Burns/Pine Bluffs thinclads have good day in Gering

The cross country team from Burns/Pine Bluffs traveled to Nebraska Friday for the Gering Invite. The meet was moved up three hours to save the runners from running in the heat of the day.

“By the time the varsity races began it was a very hot day,” said co-head coach Dustin Lee. “Several kids had heat related issues from many teams including ours. No major issues arose however and to my knowledge everyone is feeling good now.”
