Lady Hornets split weekend games with Lingle, Saratoga

A win over Lingle and a loss to Saratoga on Thursday and Friday gives the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets a 3-5 overall record on the season heading into this week’s action. The team is 2-1 in the region.

“We won in four against Lingle,” coach Christina Nusbaum said.

The scores were 25-22, 16-25, 25-22, 25-21.

“I was proud of the way the girls scratched and clawed for this win; they never quit on the ball. We served over 94 percent as a team with nine aces which was crucial,” Nusbaum said.
