Lady Coyotes dig up a win

The Pawnee Lady Coyote traveled to play Woodlin/Arickaree on Friday. The Lady Coyotes won 25-14, 25-15, 25-8.

Coach Marcy Konig said, “The Coyotes made a change in their rotation that has really been working. Afton Zitek had an amazing night serving 13 in a row.”

Zitek continued to serve bullet after bullet which added another 6 aces to the scoreboard. The senior ended her night with 8 aces, 4 kills and 9 digs.

Coach Konig commended Zitek’s efforts and said she has “really stepped up this year and continues to improve.”
