80th Birthday for Selma (Burkholder) Gieber

Selma was born October 9, 1930 in Meriden, Wyo. to Ray and Hilma Burkholder. She graduated from Albin High School in 1952.

She didn’t wander too far from home and didn’t need to in order to find the love of her life, Clarence Gieber. They were married in 1954 and lived in Pine Bluffs for most of their years.

They raised five children, four girls and a boy. Ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren came from the gifts of those five children.

Selma held numerous jobs around Pine Bluffs including cleaning the school and helping Clarence with his work.
