The Lady Coyotes began the Homecoming festivities with an exciting win over Weldon Valley Friday night. Senior Emily Ellis was proud of her team for improving their problem areas.
“We get really tired in the second set, usually,” Ellis said. “But tonight we stayed strong through our weakest set. It was a lot of fun tonight.”
The Lady Coyotes not only had fun but showed how an “iron man” volleyball team can out-serve, out-dig and outlast a team whose roster numbers into the 30’s. They beat the Lady Warriors 25-18, 25-23, 17-25, 25-21.
