Hornets suffer tough homecoming defeat at paws of Tigers

Homecoming at Pine Bluffs was delayed due to the arrival of a winter storm last week. Making up their game against the Lusk Tigers on Monday afternoon, the Hornets found themselves in a seriously uneven match up as Lusk took home at 54-0 victory.

“Obviously we couldn’t anything right on offense,” Hornets’ head coach Will Gray said. “We couldn’t block, throw, or catch. If we can’t move the ball then we are on defense the entire game, and that kills us from a fatigue and confidence standpoint.”
