Student of the Week: McKenzie Hupp

Enthusiasm in a child is contagious. And McKenzie Hupp has enthusiasm for her education and learning.

“I like to learn and I can learn all I should and hope to be what I hope to be, a veterinarian,” McKenzie said as she explained her academic drive.

McKenzie is a fourth grader at Albin elementary and has the pleasure of being taught by a new teacher, Shannon Perlinski. Perlinski came to Albin after teaching special education at Wind River High School in Ethete. She says she “loves the school and the students,” and is especially proud of McKenzie.
