Lady Hornets season ends

Tuesday, Oct. 15 the Lady Hornets hosted Burns for their senior night game. After honoring Dana Mullins and the inactive Andrea Baker, the Lady Hornets tried to contain the defensively creative Lady Broncs and lost 21-25, 19-25, 23-25.

“Burns is a great defensive team and you just have to stay aggressive hitting at them,” Coach Christina Nusbaum said. “It takes some mental stamina to play with them; you keep thinking this shot is going to be a kill and they find a way to get it up.”

Nusbaum blamed the weak serving effort from Pine Bluffs on the loss.
