Market trails through 65 years

When local residents run low on the staples of the kitchen or perhaps just need a snack after school, all trails lead to Texas Trail Market. But most of the bargain shoppers don't realize the little store has been around for 65 years.

"It was the Coop Market before the name changed in 1984," explained manager Bill Cushing. "They had a contest to decide the new name and the Baptist minister at the time won. Talk about a town supporting a store."
