A majority of people in Wyoming have rightly expressed skepticism about the President's promises that his health care law would lower premiums and let them keep their health plan if they like it. This month's disastrous rollout of the health care law's insurance exchanges only confirmed their concerns. October did bring some positive news for our state. Important helium legislation was signed into law that provides Wyoming with additional abandoned mine land (AML) funding and establishes a competitive royalty rate for Wyoming's soda ash producers.
