A thankful and colorful Veteran's Day

The elementary students in Pine Bluffs were not quiet or dull when they showed their appreciation to the Veterans in the audience at their Veteran's Day Program Monday.

The area schools and American Auxiliary Post 60 didn't wait until the eleventh hour on the eleventh day to show their appreciation and respect to local Veterans, Monday.

Carpenter hosted a breakfast for the Veterans along with interviews by the students and a chance to get their picture taken with family.

The Burns elementary showed up later and helped honor, with their voices, the 40 local Veterans present. The service time varied from two years to 35 years and all the branches of the military were represented.
