Pine Bluffs third grade teachers Wanda Theobald and Michelle McCormack have brought many classes to the Pine Bluffs council meeting to get a taste of the process of local government. On Monday evening, however, the class showed up to a room filled with concerned citizens. The evening's agenda had a few hot topics unusual for the council's agenda. The students still came away with an idea of what a town council does. One student said, "They listen to the people and talk to them about what they are doing." One other student said, "Some folks might need to calm down and might watch what they are saying." Even though the evening had some "angry voices," the students came away from the night with a non-blemished opinion about town council meetings. "There were lots of people but it was fun." Listening to numerous comments from the guests are Councilmen Alan Curtis and Mike Ragsdale and Mayor Bill Shain.
