Hornets show promise in first Basketball season

 


The Hornets competed well in the Tiger Jamboree tourney, according to coach William Gray.

“I thought the kids competed well over the weekend. They did a lot of good things,” he said.

The Hornets stole a win facing off against Sundance in a 57-44 vistory. But the boys lost against Big Horn 56-52.

“We need to be more consistent and take care of the ball better. Turnovers really hurt us against Big Horn,” Gray said. “We had every opportunity to win the game, but we didn’t take care of the ball when we needed to.”

Gray said, overall, he saw a lot of positive things on the court....
