Andrea Baker goes up for two after run down court against Moorcroft in one of the three games the Lady Hornets competed in at the Winter Classic in Burns this past weekend.

Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets showed up for the Burns Winter Classic and came home with three wins in their stockings for their efforts.

Head Coach Lindsey Forbes was very proud of the team that beat Cheyenne Central, Moorcroft and in two days time.

"The girls played hard this weekend," Forbes said. "I am impressed with the way our younger kids are playing. Defensively the girls are starting to understand what we are trying to accomplish."

The Lady Hornets played close with Central, narrowly beating the Lady Indians but handled Moorcroft and Shoshoni with a 38 percent field goal percentage.
