A construction team from Mechanical Systems Inc. (MSI) installs a new water main Friday between the Pine Bluffs Community Center and NAPA. The installation marks the last of about 15,000 feet of pipe installed in the town's water main replacement project, which replaced old water mains and rotten service lines throughout Pine Bluffs.
Contractors working on the Pine Bluffs water distribution project laid the last of about 15,000 feet of water main Friday, putting a close to the project which began August 2011.
"It's been a tough project, but the town's water main system has been completely revamped," said project engineer for Lindstone and Associates John Goin.
Goin, who was at the sight between the community center and NAPA, said contractors with Mechanical Systems Inc. (MSI) started the construction phase of the project November 2012, replacing water mains throughout Pine Bluffs, including some service lines.
