Lady Broncs split weekend

In a scrappy game against the determined Saratoga Lady Panthers, Burns threw the last punch and won 70-51 Friday night in Burns.

Through all the nudging and pushing, Burns traveled down the court and scored effectively as well as executing their defense efficiently, keeping Saratoga's scoring low until the fourth quarter.

Riding high on the victory, Burns landed in Lingle on Saturday for the second game of the weekend. However the win from the previous night couldn't help them on the court the next day, and the Lady Broncs lost 59-49.

Burns hosted Mitchell Tuesday evening but no scores were available at press time. The Lady Broncs travel to Lusk Friday and host Wright Saturday as the basketball season heats up the winter with action.
