Gov. Matt Mead chairs the the SLIB board meeting Thursday which granted $1 for the new Pine Bluffs medical clinic. Other members of the board are Secretary of State Max Maxfield, left of the Govenor, State Auditor Cynthia Cloud and State Treasurer Mark Gordon. Not pictured but joining by phone was State Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill.
Construction of the new Tri-County Medical Center in Pine Bluffs will begin in March after the Wyoming State Loan and Investment Board approved a $1 million grant to the project Thursday.
SLIB left the recommendation for the grant in the consensus agenda at its meeting which reviewed the Wyoming Business Council's recommendations for grants and loans to numerous projects.
The new clinic will be built on the same location as the current clinic. Temporary housing will be brought in to keep the stream of service going for patients in the area. Tentative plans are to place two trailers on the...
