Triumphant Hornets: Pine Bluffs knocks down the top Vikings

Home court advantage couldn't mask the task at hand for the Pine Bluffs Hornets. They faced the top ranked Guernsey Vikings. And into the fight they marched, catching the Vikings off guard and collecting on good ball maintenance and an effective Hornet defense.

"They are a good team, with two effective guards and a big man inside," Coach William Gray said. "The kids did a much better job of taking care of the basketball."The Hornets won 46-42.

On Saturday, the Hornets traveled to meet the force of the Southeast Cyclones. Coming off a strong win, Pine Bluffs was ready for the game winning...
