Obituary: Julie Rose Plambeck

Mrs. Julie Rose (Myers) Plambeck, 93, of Cheyenne, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Davis Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family.

Julie was born June 14, 1920, in Keota, Colo., a daughter of Arthur and Alma (Crain) Myers.

At and an early age, Julie demonstrated her kind and beautiful spirit. As a girl she played basketball and cherished those memories and times. She was the role model of quiet and amazing strength. Her family was her love. She said they made the world turn. Her love of nature and holistic approach to life and intense love for her family was at the core of everything she did.

Julie is survived by her daughter, Linda Marlene Camp of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren, Brett Weber, Kimberly Bell, Judd, Lucas, Gabriel Rogers and Heather Hunter; eleven great-grandchildren, Jeremy Roberts, Justin Crook, Tara Schutte, Erica Wright, Taylor and Laine Hunter, Samuel, Sophia, Aaron, Jared and Happy Rogers; and six great-great grandchildren, Clare and Adyson Crook, Wyatt Timmerman, Daniel Wright, Paisley and Cooper Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ralph H. Plambeck on June 27, 2004; daughter, Wanda Kathleen Weber; son, Ronald Neil Rogers; four brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church with The Reverend Joshua Scheer officiating. An interment service will follow at Beth El Cemetery.
