Albin Community News

That little rodent over in Pennsylvania was scared Sunday by his shawdow and went back to sleep for another six weeks. Maybe he was a Broncos fan and predicted a nasty day on the field.

It was still a good game to watch, seeing Percy Harvin get to run back a touchdown in a Super Bowl. Something he never would have got to do with the Vikings. Now, on to the madness of basketball for a while.

A bit of news from the Albin Elementary halls: Arizona school districts, including the Dysart Unified School District, along with the Vail School District, welcomed more than 50 educators from the state of Wyoming on Jan. 30 and 31, 2014 to showcase the use of technology in the classroom. Ms. Nikki Poelma and Dr. LeAnn Smith from Albin Elementary School were in attendance. Wyoming was also represented by other school teachers and administrators as well as state department and university personnel. The educators visited eight schools during the two-day visit, including elementary, middle and high schools. For more information, you can check out these websites; https://www.dysart.org/Sites/Default.aspx?pgID=1772 or http://www.vail.k12.az.us/.
